IT HAPPENED. AND IT WAS LEGENDARY.
In the final 30 seconds, with the game tied and the crowd on their feet, Austin Compactors guard Jolie launched a 5-point shot as the buzzer sounded. The gym went silent. The ball hit nothing but net.

But the score was just the beginning of the story.
This year's Junk 'N Jam delivered:
Jazz hands & clapping defenses — the most unusual D in basketball history.
A full Thriller dance — mid-game, no warning.
Elsa from Frozen crashed the court and turned it into a hockey rink.
Chip lost a tooth — he's fine. The game went on.
3 generations of Dahls on the court for one unforgettable play.
Lucy the dog stole the show with tricks between plays.
Every special free-throw style made an appearance.
An amazing halftime performance from Lehman High School Cheerleaders, and Star Strutters and Starlettes.
22 minutes of accidental camera drama — because someone sat in front of it, and yes, it's on the full livestream.
This was the 4th Annual Junk 'N Jam, and it was the best one yet!
Somehow, next year will be even better.
IREP Resale will continue to donate 10% of sales to the nonprofits through April 20. Visit the store at 7601 South Congress Ave. Ste. 550A to help.
Heads up ! There's about 22 minutes in the live where someone sat in front of the camera. It's part of the charm.

Junk 'N Jam: Live Basketball. Big Energy. Pure Entertainment.
Junk 'N Jam isn't your typical basketball game — it's a live fundraiser show where the score is real, but the fun is completely intentional.
Inspired by the spirit of the Harlem Globetrotters and the unforgettable chaos of 90s MTV Rock 'N Jock. Junk 'N Jam blends real athleticism with scripted surprises, crowd-driven moments, and laugh-out-loud entertainment built for fans of all ages.
Expect suspense. Expect twists. Expect at least one moment that makes you wonder if this was planned — and honestly, you'll never know.
This year's showdown pits the IREP Recyclers against the Austin Compactors, and yes, bragging rights are absolutely on the line.
Whether you love sports, comedy, or just a great community event, Junk 'N Jam was made for you. All proceeds go directly to two Austin-area nonprofits making a real difference: Work Dog Rescue
& Rehabilitation and Teacher Reuse.
Come for the basketball. Stay for the chaos. Leave with memories — and maybe a raffle prize.
Each year, Junk ’N Jam partners with local nonprofits doing meaningful work in our community. Through community voting and event fundraising, we’re able to provide both financial support and ongoing resources to organizations making a real difference.
WorkDog Rescue and Rehabilitation focuses on rescuing and rehabilitating working-breed dogs, providing them with structure, training, and care so they can thrive in permanent, loving homes. Their work supports both the dogs and the families who welcome them, creating successful placements built on preparation and respect.
Teacher Reuse collects, organizes, and redistributes donated school supplies to educators across Central Texas. By reducing out-of-pocket classroom costs and keeping usable materials out of landfills, Teacher Reuse supports teachers, students, and sustainability all at once.
We’re proud to support both of these incredible organizations as Junk ’N Jam 2026 beneficiaries and grateful to our community for helping choose them.
